Snickers

Snickers is a huge lovebug. He loves being patted and purrs all the time. He was found as a stray and picked up by Athol Animal Control. They had him fully vetted/neutered and found out he is FIV+. We are estimating that he is around 7-years-old. According to the Humane Society of the United States, "FIV is one of the most common infectious diseases among cats. In North America, around 3-5% of healthy cats are FIV-positive." FIV+ cats can live long and healthy lives as long as they are kept indoors, fed a healthy diet, and receive regular vet care." https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats We are looking for either a home with no other cats or a home with another FIV+ cat for Snickers. He does get along well with other feline friends! He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations, so now all he needs is a loving home. If a cat is listed on our website, they are still available for adoption, but there may be applications received ahead of yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. Our adoption fee for cats seven months – 2 years is $250, 3 years to 10 years is $200. Senior cats over 11 years are $125. The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, microchip, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/neutering.
