This is Skye, a gorgeous little 6-lb female copper-eyed Blue-Cream Smoke Persian, just over a year old, with the sweetest soul you could possibly imagine. Although she was terribly sick when we got her, she never failed to purr and appreciate attention regardless of her weakened condition. That's why we couldn't let her be put to sleep, and spent a lot of time and money and effort getting her back to health.
Skye is purrfectly healthy now (thank you, Dr Plasse!), and happily scampering around her foster home and playing with her Persian housemates as if nothing had ever happened. She has a very gentle and kind personality, a soft and happy voice, isn't demanding at all, and just loves a bit of attention and patting from time to time. She likes to sleep on the bed with you, and rewards you with a big long stretch and loud purring if you pat her while she's napping. Friendly with family and strangers, other cats and dogs, vets and groomers too... nothing at all upsets her.
She's declawed on all four paws, so you'll have to spend extra effort on keeping her coat free of knots and matts; she softly protests intensive grooming, but lets you do it anyway. And she'll reward you by coming to the door when you come home, flopping herself on the floor because she's so happy to see you.
Warning: Skye's foster poppa just adores this little girl, and won't let her go to any but the very best of homes. You'd better be ready, willing and able to give this special little princess the life she deserves.
