My Story

Siri is a special needs cat who has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). The cerebellum is responsible for coordination and other things. CH can be mild to severe and she is in the moderate range. She has poor coordination and balance, but can walk. They cannot jump or climb. She cannot squat without her legs splaying out and falling over which makes it difficult to use a litter box. Large pee pads seem to be the best option and she does her best to use them. She only urinates once a day so it is a large amount. She is very sweet and loving and likes to be around her people. Because she cannot jump or climb she would be a great candidate for an area that you would not want cats climbing all over. She likes to explore, but should not have the run of the house. She should only be allowed to roam freely under supervision and only after she has pottied for the day. If you are still reading, then maybe you would be interested in learning more about CH kitties. Please do some research online before deciding if they are right for you. You are welcome to contact me with any questions. She has been in foster care all of her life and deserves a home where she don't have to compete for attention. Please email me at [email protected] for any questions.
