This is Simon. He is 1-year-old, very affectionate orange tabby. Simon thrives on social interactions with cats and people. Simon lives at the RAPS Sanctuary because he has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which weakens the immune system. However, cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives with proper care. Potential adopters should be willing to keep Simon as an indoor-only cat, provide routine wellness exams through their veterinarian, and be alert to any changing health issues.
FIV is primarily spread from one cat to another via deep bite wounds and is very rarely transferred via communal food bowls, litter boxes, or grooming. FIV-positive cats and FIV-negative cats can live together as long as there is no fighting among them.
Simon is available for the RAPS Foster-To-Adopt program, where adoption is confirmed once any medical needs are stabilized, and both cat and adopter are comfortable moving forward with a formal adoption.
If you're willing to provide Simon with the care he needs, he will be your BFF.

Senior Cat Pairs (9 years & older) = $125
Cats (over 1 year old) = $125
Cats Pairs (over 1 year old) = $200
Kittens (under 1 year old) = $162.50
Kittens Pairs (under 1 year old) = $275
