My Story

Meet SIMON! This handsome, sweet, quiet young man came to us in November 2021, when he was being "given away" in a shopping center parking lot. In East Texas, that typically does not end well for the friendly, unassuming kitten. Lucky for him, one of our volunteers happened upon him and brought him to us. SIMON is the sweetest little cuddle bug. He remains the #1 overlooked cat at the lounge, although he is handsome, he gets along great with the other cats, he is largely unbothered by kids, noise and activity leading us to believe he would also be okay around dogs. He's independent enough that he doesn't ask for much (except for treats) but he will let you hold him and love on him to your heart's content. SIMON is an FIP survivor and we are hoping he has a chance to live a long and happy life in a forever home -- starting soon! SIMON is 2 YO, neutered, vaccinated, FELV/FIV negative, and HomeAgain micrcochipped.
