Simon

Simon is an 18 pound, neutered, front-declawed, white, emerald green eyed, healthy, 9yr old Maine Coon Cat. He found himself dumped at a local kill shelter when his family had a new baby 3 yrs ago. He was rescued into a house where it was discovered he doesn't care for female adults or female children. Simon was then adopted by a very nice man, whom Simon adores. Simon has been living the good life with his new owner, until recently. The 2 kittens he lives with (they are all neutered) have grown into mature adults and they torment Simon by not letting him eat, drink, or use the litterbox. When Simon's owner is at work he puts Simon in a bedroom with food, water, and litterbox so he is not harassed by the other two cats. With a heavy heart Simon's owner thinks it may be best to find Simon another home. Simon is good with other cats, dogs, and all male humans. He will tolerate female humans but his "buddy" needs to be a man. He doesn't care to be brushed much and will need a patient friend to win his confidence to groom him. His favorite activity is drinking water out of a running faucet. This is how I (a female) groomed him while he was busy drinking. He is good at the local groomer (another female) when she clips his belly fur so he doesn't get matted. Simon is a lover and very devoted to his male companions.
