Shiitake is happiest when sitting next to you, getting back scratches, and purring up a storm. She is playful, responds to being called, and is a big fan of treats and catnip toys. While loving and attentive to her kittens, she loves getting attention herself and is always ready for snuggles (even when getting eye medicine and ear drops.) While she gets along very well with her kittens, she is less certain of other animals. Her right eye is cloudy due to a pre-existing injury, but it doesn’t slow her down or impede her ability to jump into the windowsill for optimal chin scratching level.
