She was originally trapped as a feral cat and was a bit grumpy when she first came to us. She has since calmed down and will allow us to pet her-she still is not comfortable with being picked up though. She needs an understanding , patient home who is willing to give her some space and time to adjust to being a housecat. Shiekra needs to know what having the comforts and love a real home and family can really be like. Please give Shiekra a chance! We do not recommend a home with small children as they like to grab and Shiekra most likely would not tolerate that but she could be placed ina home with older children. She should do well with other cats and even dogs who are good with cats. Shiekra is litter box trained and a beautiful girl. We estimate her to be about 1 1/2-2 years old.
