My Story

Meet Sharpie Sharpie Male DOB: 1/1/24 MRQ# U6-24-1 Sharpie is a bundle of joy wrapped in a soft, furry package. Born on the first day of the year (1/1/24), he’s a New Year’s miracle waiting to fill your home with love and laughter. Sharpie is not just a cat; he’s a companion, a protector, and a constant source of entertainment. Whether it’s chasing a feather toy or chasing Stripey, his bonded brother, around the house, Sharpie’s zest for life is infectious. He’s the perfect balance of affectionate, self-assured, and social. Sharpie gets along with new people effortlessly and is quick to explore and adapt to new environments. Sharpie loves lounging in all the cozy spots around the house. From the cat tree basket to your bed, if it’s soft and cushioned, Sharpie has claimed it as his territory. His favorite hideouts are perfect for sneak-attack pounces during playtime or lazy afternoon naps. Sharpie adores being petted. He might even jump up to meet your hand if he thinks you’re about to pet him. Although he’s not a fan of being picked up, Sharpie won’t put up a fight. He’s easy to handle and cooperative, making him a great fit for any home. Sharpie is bonded with his brother, Stripey, and takes his role as big brother very seriously. He looks out for Stripey and will always be there to defend him if he senses any distress. Their bond is unbreakable, and they must be adopted together. About Both Cats: Well-Mannered: They know not to jump on things when instructed. A spray bottle should be a last resort, but it’s effective. Litter Box: Both are litter box trained. Clean it twice a day to ensure Stripey doesn’t have trouble using it. Unscented litter is preferred. Crate Trained: Both cats are comfortable being crated. Minimal Shedding: They shed very little, making them a great fit for a tidy home. Feeding Schedule: They are fed four times a day and may need time to adjust to a new schedule. Sometimes one cat might finish the other’s food, so it’s important to monitor their meals. Backstory: Sharpie and Stripey were rescued from a neighbor’s roof after a threat to call animal control. In the two months they've been with us, they've blossomed into affectionate and well-behaved cats. They are semi-light sleepers and most receptive to pets after just waking up. Sharpie and Stripey are more than ready to find their forever home. If you’re looking for a pair of loving, playful, and well-adjusted cats, these brothers are the perfect match. Adopt them today and experience double the love and fun!
