This handsome brown tabby boy was found in a Walmart parking lot, weaving in and out between cars, looking for food. He was terrified of people and at first, but he was thankfully safe. Thanks to the love and patience of his rescuer, this boy has learned about love from people. Little by little, Shaq regained his trust in humans. His foster has stated that his transformation has been awesome! Now Shaq's favorite pastime is to sit in the laps of his fosters or near them on the bed - he shares his sweet purr. He is desperate for human attention and love. He is good around a group of people and even likes to be carried around in their arms. He loves to be talked to and is interested in having conversations. Shaq is quite playful, and he likes toys. He is very interested in other cats, but would do best in a home where he is the only male cat. When Shaq was first rescued, he needed a bit of work on how to properly interact with people - he tended to play rough. We are so happy to report that he has made incredible progress with his fosters and has learned his manners. He would love to find an understanding and experienced adopter that will help him continue to fine tune his social skills. Shaq is so grateful to be off the streets and truly just wants to be loved.
