My Story

Shakey is still getting used to indoor life with people, but has recently been letting his fosters pet him more and more. He is still sometimes a little hissy, but enjoys scritches and playing. He is definitely food motivated, and enjoys catnip! Shakey has a mild/moderate case of cerebellar hypoplasia, which means he can move a little jerkily or suddenly, fall down frequently, or have trouble walking. Although this means he needs a little extra care, most cats with CH live full and long lives. He was rescued with his best friend Violet, and they must be adopted together as a bonded pair. Other cats can sometimes be surprised by Shakey's sudden movements, but Violet understands him and they love to cuddle together. They can be in a home with other cats too, but they must go home together so that Violet can serve as his translator. Won't you give this wiggly boy a chance?
