About T.A.R.A. | Adopt | Volunteer | Donate Shadow is a sweet cat looking for his forever home after being abandoned by his previous owner. Shadow is a friendly, outgoing 8 year old male. He is shy at first, but once he trusts you he will warm up to you. He enjoys rubbing his chin on his fosters hand for affection. He will probably do best as an only cat. Shadow is a diabetic kitty. Shadow is currently with a foster family, and they are doing a great job keeping his diabetes under control by closely monitoring his diet, blood sugar and insulin levels daily. Shadow will need this daily care to keep him healthy and stable so he can enjoy many more years. The foster family can give you all the details needed to care for this sweet guy! Adoption Fee: $75 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption. Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed. Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area.
