Seymour

Seymour is estimated to be 4 years old, and estimated to be a purebred Balinese. He could also be a chocolate point Himalayan or a Ragdoll, as his appearance could be any of these 3 breeds, but he is most likely to be a Balinese because of his size and character. He is sterilized, dewormed, vaccinated, vet checked and healthy. Seymour was lost or abandoned, found wandering outside, and surrendered to Berger Blanc. He was not getting adopted from there, so Robin Hood Rescue stepped in to take him before he was due to be euthanized. Once in our care, we discovered that Seymour was sick. He was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease. With lots of meds, love and care, he was nursed to health. He now has stage 1 kidney disease, which is manageable with only early care kidney food, he is on no medications. He has a great prognosis and hopefully looks forward to many more happy years. He also has 1 loose tooth and some gingivitis that will eventually need medical attention and will be the responsibility of the adopter. For now, it's much more important for Seymour's health that he be kept in low stress environments as he stabilizes after his recovery. Seymour is truly the best boy. He is so affectionate, loves to be held, loves to be picked up, and cuddles you most of the time if you're sitting down. He has SO MUCH love to give you. If he asks for love but is ignored, he'll meow at you until you pet him. He just wants love, rest and safety. He can be shy with loud things or new people, but warms up quickly. He is definitely a couch potato, he's a very calm cat once he's settled in. He is also very dignified and funny.
