This is Scratchy. He can be a bit skittish, but loves his feline siblings and house mates. He is often caught playing & laying with the dogs (when he thinks no one is looking). He is a sucker for treats and his wet food. Once you get him, he will purr and soak up all the love that you have to give. He was found in a box abandoned and was very fearful and "spicy" (which is how he got his name). He used to try and scratch at everything he could to get away from you. He has come a long way since he was found. He is still the "I want to do my own thing" type of cat but when he is in the mood, he LOVES attention! He will purr in your arms for hours if he is in the mood for it. He is starting to seek out attention and affection. Whoever chooses this baby will need to be extra patient and give him his space. He also would love a home with a cat or dog friend to hang out with! Older children would be okay, but no young children please. He took about 6 week to start coming out of his shell. And having a cat tree for him to scratch on is going to be a great thing for him. He also loves catnip!
