Meet Scooter! This sweet old gal is a great lap cat who can't wait to find her forever home. She was originally surrendered to Sangamon County Animal Control when her owner passed away, and was pretty scared at first. She warms up quickly in a home environment (currently in foster), and loves to cuddle. She recently had bloodwork and a dental done, so she's in great health even with her age (has some corneal scaring on one eye, but it's mostly cosmetic). She would make a wonderful companion in a quieter home. She gets along with other cat and kids (not sure about dogs), and came in with her housemate Smokey-Loo (also available), and we'd love to see them adopted together, but they are not considered bonded so it's not required.
Scooter is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, treated for parasites, and combo-tested negative for FIV/Leuk. Her adoption fee is $75.
