My Story

If you are interested in any of the cats available at New Leash Rescue, email [email protected] for the cat application. Hi there, I am Scarlett! My siblings and I were found outside prior to being brought into rescue. My estimated birth date is 3/1/23. Just like my siblings, I found out the comfort of being indoors was way more preferable to being outside. My foster mom is always telling me how sweet and pretty I am. My foster mom thinks I am the perfect combination of playful and snuggly. I love to play with toys, run around with my cat friends or just snuggle up on your lap for a quick nap while you pet me. I get along great with the other cats in my home. It would be amazing if I could find a family to call my own, preferably with another cat friend. As part of the adoption process, vet references will be checked on past/current pets looking for history of routine exams, DHPP/FDRC and rabies vaccines. ***adoption fee is discounted to $150 for any adoption before 1/31/24***** Adoption fee is $225 as part of a pair or $250 for a single kitten. Foster to contact: Sandi @ [email protected] or 952-250-9462 Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home. Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
