SASSIE # 9995 Femelle, Adulte, Stérilisée, Vaccinée, Vermifugée et Micropucée SASSIE est une jeune chatte de petit format, âgée d'environ 2 ans avec un joli pelage gris acier ressemblant à celui d'un Chartreux. Elle a été abandonnée à la mi-juin par son ancienne famille; le motif des allergies en serait une fois de plus la cause. Les 2 premières semaines de SASSIE au refuge furent très éprouvantes pour elle. Complètement terrorisée, elle n'acceptait pas nos efforts pour la réconforter et grognait de peur. Tout ce stress ressenti s'est ainsi manifesté par une petite lésion sous le nez, qui heureusement a déjà commencé à guérir. Comme la plupart des chats au tempérament plus solitaire et réservé et n'ayant jamais côtoyé d'autres animaux dans le passé, SASSIE est restée cachée quelques jours lorsqu'elle a été introduite aux autres chats vivant dans la salle commune. Nous avons rapidement constaté que la pauvre n'apprécie pas la présence de ses congénères près d'elle alors madame limite l'exploration de son environnement. On la trouve très souvent couchée dans un lit couvert ou avec le dos au mur, ce qui la rassure que ses colocataires ne pourront pas l'atteindre. Avec les gens toutefois, SASSIE s'avère être une minette aimable, affectueuse et d'agréable compagnie. Douce et modérément active, elle accepte volontiers vos caresses et vos bécots. Une fois qu'elle vous connaît un peu mieux, SASSIE est contente de vous voir, se frotte sur vos jambes et aime s'installer sur vos genoux pour être cajolée et se mettra à ronronner de bonheur. Cette demoiselle peut aussi être indépendante à ses heures et n'aura pas trop de problème à rester seule quelques heures par jour, vous laissant vaquer à vos occupations sans inquiétude. SASSIE se réjouira de faire partie d'un foyer sans autres animaux et ce, afin d'y vivre sereinement et retrouver sa curiosité et sa joie de vivre. Nous cherchons des personnes bienveillantes qui interagiront régulièrement avec la coquette féline, pour la stimuler et la dorloter. Nous croyons que SASSIE pourrait cohabiter avec des grands enfants de plus de 12 ans, respectueux des animaux. SASSIE # 9995 Female, Adult, Sterilized, Vaccinated, Dewormed and Microchipped SASSIE is a young and smallish 2 year old female, with a lovely steel-grey coat, similar to that of a Chartreux. She was abandoned mid-June by her former family; allergies was the reason given, like so many others recently... SASSIE's first 2 weeks at the shelter were very trying for her. Completely terrified, she wasn't accepting our efforts to comfort her and would growl in fear. All this stress she felt manifested itself in a small lesion under her nose; thankfully this is already healing nicely. Like most cats with more solitary and reserved natures and having never lived around other animals in the past, SASSIE remained hidden for a few days when she was introduced to the other cats living in the common room. We quickly noticed that the poor girl does not appreciate the presence of other cats so the lovely lady limits the exploration of her surroundings. We often fin her sleeping in a covered bed or with her back to the wall, which reassures her that her roommates cannot bother her. Around people, SASSIE is a amiable, affectionate and friendly. Gentle and moderately active, she looks forward to caresses and kisses. Once she knows you a bit better, SASSIE is happy to see you, brushes your legs and loves to rest on your lap to get cuddles; she will start to purr with delight. This furry damsel can be independant at times and doesn't have an issue staying alone a few hours, so you can get on with your occupations without worrying too much. SASSIE will be thrilled to be part of a household without other animals, so she can live peacefully and rediscover her normal activities and lust for life. We are looking for caring adopters who will interact regularly with our pretty feline, to stimulate her and spoil her. We believe SASSIE could cohabitate with children 12 or older, who are respectful of animals. SASSIE wants and deserves the find happiness again and enjoy the comforts of a calm and welcoming home.
