My Story

Hello world, I'm Sammie! I might be tiny but I'm also MIGHTY! I have things to do and places to see, so watch out! My brothers and sisters are still teaching me kitty manners they tell me I'm a bit too exuberant during playtime roll eyes here. I say go big or go home! I looove playtime so bring on the toys! Feather and strings toys? Yasss. Mice? Oh yeah! My foster mom told me about something called You Tube, so I pushed out the tiniest meow I could muster to say, yes please!. And then? Fish swimming on the TV! For some reason, I couldn't quite catch them though After I exhaust myself romping with my littermates and playing with all the things, I love basking in the sunshine and looking out into the world. I might just even crawl up into your lap for some belly rubs. My foster mom tells me I am a good girl about using my scratching posts and my litterbox too. I really like the kitty condo she has for me. I also really like her plants, but she says that's a no no. Whoops. A few more basics about Miss Sammie: Dogs: Sammie has not had exposure to dogs, but given her strong personality we think she'd do just fine with a cat friendly canine Cats: Sammie is currently being fostered with her mom and four other siblings. She is high energy and very playful. She would do best in a home with a playmate or as a solo cat to a human who provides her adequate stimulation. Socialization: Sammie is a very social girl! She likes to insert herself into the action, whether that's with humans or animals. She has been introduced to children, but not babies. Is Sammie vocal? While Sammie is still young and finding her voice, she is already fairly vocal. Sammie is a hoot and is sure to bring joy to your household. Don't miss out on this character! If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown.
