SAMMIE is a sweet boy but shy at first, therefore he will need patience and time to adjust to his new surroundings. He and 3 litter mates were found at a restaurant's dumpster on a very busy street 2 weeks before Halloween very hungry at a very dangerous time of the year for black cats. He was very scared but after lots of love, patience and time he became sweet but still a little shy. He is very vocal when he wants his treats, and is very food motivated (which will aid in earning his trust), likes being petted very slowly and loves to play with the laser and the Da Bird. All of his vetting has been done and he is ready for his forever home. He has never lived with dogs or children. He might be able to live with other kitties but has never formed a bond with another cat. In his case he would make a great only cat.
