Approx DOB: August 2020 Sammi (ID#21075) adjusts quickly to new surroundings. She loves meeting new people. When she sees a new person, she rolls on her back and asks for attention. Sammi is a lap cat and a purring machine. She likes to cuddle with you when you are working on the computer. She seeks attention, sometimes aggressively (bumping her head against your wrist while you are trying to type.) She used to climb on her foster mom’s shoulder and jump on her back. They’re working on correcting this behavior and directing Sammi to her lap instead. She is scared of dogs and loud noises. She no longer runs away from her foster mom’s dog, but she gets scared and hisses at the dog when the dog makes a sudden move. Sammi is a lovely girl with a personality that is sure to warm your heart – and your lap! As you can see from her short video, she loves being close and enjoys petting and affection. She is sure to make a wonderful addition to your family. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one.
