Sage

Sage was pulled from OCAS after she was surrendered to the shelter by her owners for urinating blood. It was found she had bladder stones, w a euthanasia date set end of day. we rushed and picked her up Sage has a UTI that we are treating w antibiotics, and a prescription food to ?? hopefully dissolve the stones! We will be rechecking her X-rays, and urine within the next 4-6 weeks, surgery (cystotomy pending these results ) We would LOOVE to get Sage into a FOSTER TO ADOPT OR A FOSTER home. - all medical and supplies provided by us. - Sage will need to be fed separate from other cats, and ensure she does not eat ANY other diet, other than her prescription food! -Sage will remain in the care of our rescue until her stones are fully dissolved, and her UTI is cleared up. - or until surgery is scheduled ( this varies depending on her how her recheck appointment goes ) - sage will be eligible for adoption when her stones are gone, and she is healthy enough to leave our care Sage is cat friendly, but absolutely petrified of dogs. We are unsure about children. If you’re interested- or able to foster Sage, please let us know! Rescue is located in Deltona FL. Sage is very friendly, She’s a cuddly cat, sleeps w us every night, she enjoys being held, and is the biggest lap cat!!! She’s vocal and will let you know when she wants attention. She is currently in a home w three large dogs, and has gradually learned to coexist with them, but would prefer to not be in there presence.
