Sadie

Update: 11/14/09 Notes from Sadies' Mom: I have a new cat, Sadie. She is hard to get a picture of because she loves to be petted and be near so a lot of times when I am trying to get a picture of her she walks towards me and it doesn't turn out. Thank God I am not using film :-) She likes to hide behind the books on the bookshelf and will push books out of the way to get back there. She also loves these squares and she and Rose actually play in and around them. She is just a little lover .

9/26/09 I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know Sadie is doing wonderful. She was a little quiet the first few days - well I shouldn't say quiet, I had her in a bedroom by herself and after I would go in and spend time with her she would meow and cry and scratch at the door trying to get out. I felt so bad for her I shut my cat Rose out of the bedroom one night and had her stay with me all night. She is out of quarantine now and enjoying the run of the full house. She is still a little nervous about the dog but since the dog doesn't go up and down stairs she has plenty of space to feel safe in. Rose growls at Sadie sometimes but there have been no fisticuffs and I'm hoping when Rose gets a little more used to her they will be great friends. They are both really affectionate. Sadie is really coming out of her shell and racing around playing with the little cats toys, she loves jumping in the tub and even tries to turn the knob if I am not quick enough turning the water on for her.
