*** Sabrina & Salem are in a foster home. *** Sabrina: brown/orange/white tabico, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 3/25/24, #19006 Salem: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 3/25/24, #19007 Cats: bonded pair, enjoy others! Dogs: great! Children: gentle kids welcome A mother cat and her five newborn kittens were left in a box near a pet supply store where The Rescue House has an adoption center. By the time we were alerted and volunteers got to the location, the mom had departed with three of the babies and could not be located. The two remaining kittens were brought to a bottle-feeding foster who nurtured them around the clock. Sabrina and Salem are very affectionate and full of energy! They love wand toys, but when those aren't out then they are constantly playing tag and running around together with toy mice in their mouths. They'll bat balls throughout the house and steal them from each other. The entertainment never stops with these two! ---Sabrina is the mellower of the two and loves to curl up on your lap for some pets and belly rubs and then of course a nap. Her purr is bigger than she is! Sabrina's favorite toy is the turbo trackball with the scratcher in the middle... she spins it round and round and round and will fend off her brother if he tries to join that particular game. ---Salem is the mischievous one and is quite a hunter. He is always walking around with a pom-pom or mousie in his mouth... proudly displaying his catch! Salem loves to climb on the cat tree (in addition to all the places he shouldn't be). He also loves to surprise attack as you walk by... he has the best butt wiggle right before he launches himself at your feet. Salem will leap so high when he's going after a wand toy that it looks like he is flying! ---Sabrina and Salem MUST be adopted together. The kittens love each other and grew up around multiple cats, dogs, and children; they are comfortable with just about anyone so long as they are handled gently and carefully. Sabrina and Salem always have their charm meters set to maximum... how can you resist??
