Rusty

Meet Rusty! Rusty found himself at ACCT (the local animal shelter) in April of 2022, where he was surrendered by his owner, who was going to a senior assistance home, at the age of 11. Due to health concerns, Rusty was at risk of euthanasia if he didn’t find rescue placement within 24 hours. Luckily, Fishtails foster Liz opened up her home to Rusty, saving his life. Rusty is a declawed sweet senior and gentle giant who's been patiently waiting for a forever home for two years. Rusty really enjoys long naps, head scratches, and Temptations treats. He loves to play with wand toys, especially through the spindles on the stairs. He lives with other cats in his foster home and coexists with them very well. Rusty would love to enjoy his golden years in a quiet home where he can look out the window and enjoy as many cat naps as possible. He has hyperthyroidism which is treated with a medication that's applied to his ear daily. As a senior, he needs routine blood work and vet check ups to keep him healthy.
