Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin' volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. Rupert came to DunRoamin' on June 11, 2024 from the Bath area. Born about October 11, 2011, he had fleas, a major underbite and requires dental intervention. He may be related to Russell (see above) as they were both strays who had been hanging around outdoors for quite some time. Rupert weighs twice what Russell does, but we'll make sure Russell gets better, too. Rupert is a very nice gentleman. He is friendly, loving and affectionate. Once he gets some good nutritious food into him, gets some well-needed rest and is vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all his parasites, we are quite sure he will be fine! He was already neutered when he came to us. He is a beautiful boy who deserves a warm house and lots of humans to love him. He and Russell appear to be quite close and are keeping each other company while Russell recovers and tries to catch up to Rupert's weight!
