Ruby

Ruby is a phenomenal young kitten, and she's just waiting for the right family to come along and sweep her off her paws! It's taken us some time to gain her trust, but that's only because Ruby is a bit of an introvert who needs to find the right person. If you're looking for a companion whose trust will be fulfilling to earn, Ruby is the one for you. Don't miss out on the opportunity to make her a part of your family - with a little bit of love and patience, Ruby will blossom into the best family member you've ever had! Ruby has a great ability to get along with not only dogs but also other cats. Some people have even described her as a cat's "cat". She would be very happy to live in a home with another cat or dog with whom she can snuggle and groom throughout the day. Ruby has formed very special bonds with two of my cats, and she loves to chase the new fosters around the house. Once she gets comfortable, she can be very playful, and you may find her doing wild zoomies through the house. That being said I also think Ruby may benefit from being an only child, I would recommend that Ruby be placed in a home without younger children as we are still working on improving her comfort level with loud noises and quick movements. But to be honest, I can't blame her for it. I hate loud noises too, girl! Ruby is a sweet and loving cat who adores every meal and is very food-motivated. If you're looking to form a bond with her, offering her a Churu or some Temptations is a great way to start. Over time, she'll begin to associate you with positive things and grow more comfortable with you. We would love for Ruby to go to a home with an experienced cat owner who has worked with nervous kitties before. However, if you're new to cat ownership, we're happy to guide you on how to make Ruby feel at home.
