Rosie

Hi, I’m Rosie! I was brought to the Humane Society when I didn’t adjust well to changes in the home and my owner could no longer care for me. I am a beautiful 2-year-old orange and brown tortoiseshell cat. My former owner recently had a baby, and this is a change that I didn’t authorize. I responded the only way I knew how and began showing my displeasure by peeing where I wasn’t supposed to. This is not a habit I had before the baby entered our home, nor a habit I have continued at the shelter so it’s a behavior I began to show my displeasure with a tiny screaming human entering my home without my permission. I am hoping for a home and a family with no babies and no plans for babies who will keep me as an inside only kitty. I have been around other cats and have tolerated them but avoided them, so I could be with another well-behaved cat who knows to give me my space, but I would likely be happier as the only baby, pet or human, in my family’s life. I have been spayed, am up to date on my FVRCP and rabies vaccines, and have been micro-chipped too. My adoption fee is $100. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: We are accepting applications for Rosie.
