Rocky

Rocky is exactly the sweet, charming gentleman that you need in your life! There are a few things about Rocky that might catch your eye when you pass by him in his kennel. His outgoing, lovable personality, his purr that puts Italian sports cars to shame, and his happy chirps when he hears a human come near his kennel. If making new friends was an Olympic sport, Rocky would be a gold medalist. Yes, the first thing you notice about Rocky will be how wonderful and loving of a companion he is... but the second thing you might notice are his lack of eyes! When Rocky arrived at MCASAC, he was blind in both eyes and they were likely causing him pain and discomfort. Our veterinary team decided to just go ahead and remove the painful, nonfunctioning eyes back in June, and Rocky has been a happy, healthy boy ever since! Rocky's lack of vision does not impact his quality of life at all. Rocky is a very happy boy who gets around easily, is still active, and easily tracks down where the nearest human is in order to get pets! Rocky is Felv positive, which also does not impact his quality of life. Felv does not pose a risk to humans or other non-feline animals! All Rocky's diagnosis means is that he should remain a strictly indoor cat, and should only live with other Felv positive cats (or alone!) Don't let the odds stacked up against Rocky keep him from being your next best friend!! Rocky will be your steadfast companion through thick and thin.
