Rocky

Meet Rocky! Where did Rocky come from? Rocky was surrendered to us with his sister because their previous owner had passed away. Rocky had known nothing other than that person and home his entire life. When he came to us, he was petrified and refused to eat or drink anything leading to our staff having to give Rocky special care. We later discovered that Rocky had urinary crystals that created a blockage. If he didn't receive the emergency surgery that was performed, he would no longer be with us. He will always require a strict urinary care food diet. What is Rockys personality like? Rocky is a pretty funny cat that loves to keep himself entertained. He's not a huge fan of many toys and he doesn't like being held a whole lot. He does love to cuddle on his own time though! He likes to get into things he's not supposed to and overall just be a typical cat. He's great for holding down the couch! Why hasn't Rocky been adopted? With Rockys urinary care diet, not everyone is as willing to adopt him as he would be a cat that can't go without said diet. We've had several people interested in Rocky until they've heard his story and urinary care issues. He needs to go to a very loving, caring home that can meet his medical needs.
