You many look at this fine orange tabby and think 'Good grief, that cat doesn't have any ears!'.  You would, of course, be wrong but you ARE looking at the cat who holds First Place in the 'Flat Ear Contest'! Riley is an older gentleman, about 8, who has lived with his favorite human all his life. Unfortunately, she had a heart attack and now Riley is looking for the final love of his life. He's very sad and frightened right now, finding himself suddenly all alone in the world. But once he meets that special person who will love and take care of him, he'll warm right up and become an affectionate lap cat. But don’t be surprised when he hisses at you – he’s just telling you that he wants ANOTHER tummy rub! He gets along with other cats and older children but is still getting used to dogs. His teeth were in terrible shape when he was rescued but now that they've been removed, he is healing just fine. He won't have problems in the future and will be able to eat regular cat food. But he really needs someone to make him feel safe again. So if you have a lap that needs warming, this awarding winning guy is the one for you!
