RALPH #9987 Mâle, Adulte, Stérilisé, Vacciné, Vermifugé et Micropucé Bonjour, je m’appelle RALPH ! Je suis un séduisant gentleman Siamois pure race de 6 ans qui est en excellente santé. Je suis un grand garçon, musclé et agile avec un superbe pelage chocolate point cependant mes meilleurs atouts sont certainement mon sublime regard d'un bleu à vous couper le souffle et ma nature hyper-affectueuse ? J'ai eu de belles années avec ma dernière famille mais voilà que je me suis retrouvé au refuge le 15 juin, abandonné. Triste et perplexe, cela a été un coup très dur pour moi. Heureusement qu'une gentille famille d'accueil a accepté de me loger temporairement. Je suis donc à la recherche d’adoptants aimants et attentionnés qui me dorloteront pour le reste de ma vie ? J'aimerais vous parler un peu de ma personnalité et de mes habitudes. Je me décrirais comme un félin intelligent et curieux. Je peux être très vocal quand je me sens anxieux – donc les premières semaines dans un nouvel environnement je pourrais vous déranger par mes pleurs. Mais une fois à l'aise, mes vocalises cessent et quand je veux quelque chose ou attirer votre attention, je viens me frotter gentiment sur vos jambes. J’ai un caractère très doux et amical, je suis vraiment tranquille et facile à vivre. Je passe des heures à regarder à l'extérieur par la fenêtre, observer les oiseaux est mon hobby préféré! Pour être vraiment heureux, ma nouvelle famille aura un catio, une véranda fermée ou un enclos extérieur sécurisé afin que je puisse prendre l'air sans circuler librement dehors; cela m'aide beaucoup à gérer mon stress. J'adore aussi faire de longues siestes sans dérangement. J'apprécie me faire brosser régulièrement mais je ne suis pas un grand fan quand il s'agit de me faire couper les griffes...il faut y aller par petites doses ! Lorsque vous êtes assis sur le divan, j'aime beaucoup me coller sur vous et me faire flatter longuement; je pourrai rester près de vous ou m'installer sur vos genoux pendant des heures sans jamais en avoir assez de vos caresses ! Je peux être pris dans les bras sans problème. J'ai un côté très charmeur...voir séducteur - vous tomberez en amour avec moi, ce ne sera pas long ? La nuit, je dors gentiment sur le lit avec mon humain et je suis heureux de partager ses rêves. Je m'entends à merveille avec les adultes ainsi qu'avec les grands enfants (plus de 10 ans) s'ils sont respectueux avec moi. Je préfère donc les environnements sereins et pas trop actifs car je suis un être paisible. Dans mon dernier foyer j'étais le seul animal de compagnie alors je pourrais l'être à nouveau dans ma nouvelle famille mais j'aurai besoin d'interactions fréquentes avec les gens, sinon, je vais trop m'ennuyer. Je ne fais toutefois pas bon ménage avec les chiens; la famille d'accueil a récemment testé cela et ce ne fût pas un succès - je panique et suis trop nerveux en leur présence. Quant aux chats, la cohabitation serait possible avec un autre félin sociable et non-dominant, mais il me faudra une période d'adaptation pour éviter les situations stressantes qui nuirait à mon bien-être et mon épanouissement. I'm a handsome pure bred Siamese gentleman who is 6 years old and in excellent health. I'm a big boy, fit and agile with a splendid chocolate point coat, but my best assets are certainly my dazzling blue eyes that will take your breath away and my hyper-affectionate nature ? I spent some wonderful years with my last family but was nonetheless abandoned at the shelter on June 15. Sad & confused, it was an enormous shock for me. I was lucky that a nice foster family accepted to take me in temporarily. I am now looking for loving and caring adopterd who will cherish me for the rest of my life ? I'd like to tell you more about my personality and my habits. I would describe myself as an intelligent and curious feline. I can be very vocal when I am feeling anxious – so the first few weeks in a new environment I could disturb you when I cry. But once i am at ease, my vocalizing stops and if I want something or wish to attract your attention, I will brush fetchingly against your legs. I have a very gentle and friendly temperament, I'm quite calm and easygoing also. I spend hours looking outside the window, as birdwatching is my favorite hobby ! To be truly happy, my new home will have either a catio, a closed veranda or a secure outside enclosure so I can enjoy the fresh air without circulating freely outdoors; this really helps me manage my stress. I adore taking long naps without being disturbed. I enjoy being brushed regularly but I'm not a big fan of getting my claws clipped, so if that has to be done, don't expect to get them all done at once ! When you are sitting on your sofa, I love to cuddle next to you and be pet thoroughly; I can stay by your side or sit on your lap for hours without ever getting tired of your caresses ! You can hold me in your arms, I like that too. You'll see, you will fall in love with me instantly as I am very charming and seductive ? At night, I sleep nicely on the bed with my humans as I am happy to share your dreams. I get along great with all adults as well as with older children (over 10 years old) as long as they are very respectful towards me. I prefer serene and not too active environments et pas trop actifs as I myself am a tranquil boy. In my last home, I was the only pet so I could easily be the same way in my new family but I will need frequent interactions with people, if not I will get too lonely. I don't however get along with dogs; my foster recently tested me with them and it wasn't a success...as I panicked and am too nervous in their presence. As for cats, I could live with another sociable and non-dominant feline but I will need an integration period to avoid stressful situations which would be detrimental to my wellbeing and happiness.
