My Story

Meet Purrito- Purrito is a sweet and gentle soul who loves to spend time in the company of people and has a remarkable desire to bond with others. Purrito is 4 years old and this charmer is big the talker and it matches his great big heart. Purrito looks for any opportunity that he is given to sit next to his human companions or to lay on top of his humans in bed. Purrito is equally a sweetheart to both adults and children. Purrito also has a strong, persistent purr that lets you know that he feels most happy and secure when he has someone to love at his side. He is incredibly playful and will cease any opportunity that he has to bat a small toy around, hit a ball into an impossible corner, grab onto tassels on any item or partake in his personal favorite game, “cleaning” the shower glass doors with his paws when someone is taking a shower. He absolutely loves meal time and will make his enthusiasm known with an adorable little skip as you reach for his can of food and a gentle tap of his paw to the scoop being used to pour his kibble. His eyes are amazing, filled with such trust and anticipation for a forever friend. Will you give him that opportunity to have one? Adoption fee is $350 and includes the transportation, deworming, vaccinations, FEL/FIV testing, neuter / spay surgery, and microchip. To apply to adopt, please email us at [email protected] Purrito is FIV+ which isn’t a huge deal since FIV can only be transmitted through very deep flesh wounds to another cat and Purrito wouldn't hurt any other cat. FIV is only a feline autoimmune disease that is dormant usually during their whole lives. FIV does not require medication and Purrito is a normal, healthy cat. FIV cats live normal healthy lives and the only way FIV effects cats is as a secondary symptom. For example, if he were to get an upper respiratory infection it may take Purrito a day or two more to get over it versus a non-FIV cat. Below are links that are helpful to understanding FIV if you are not familiar with it but overall Purrito is a healthy and amazing boy. Anyone would truly be lucky to have him. His sweet nature is so heartwarming and he can’t wait to show his family his amazing personality. Purrito can't wait for his bright future ahead!
