Meet Gaia. Like many torties, Gaia likes attention on her terms. Gaia likes to window watch and observe what others are doing. Her favorite thing is Churu licky treats and will beg for them when she sees you walk by. She does not like being picked up, but if you are sitting still, she may come over and sit in your lap for awhile. We are recommending a cat savvy home with only adults.. Because Gaia can be uneasy around new spaces and people, her family should have previous experience with nervous, overstimulated, and swatty cats. We are requiring that all household members visit. We recommend a home with no other animals. Her new home should have plenty of space so Gaia feels comfortable as she can be territorial about her things, having multiple cat trees for vertical space will help. Gaia doesn't like her nails being trimmed but she will use horizontal cardboard scratchers. Please stop by the shelter today to say hello to Gaia.
