Pound Cake is a delightful kitten. She is gregarious and approaches everyone with her tail up, asking for pets. She loves cuddles and will lay in your arms, looking up at you adoringly. She also plays with toys, wrestles, and is a favorite among her cat siblings and roommates.
Pound Cake was born in a vacant lot in Baltimore's Park Heights neighborhood. Her mom and siblings were caught and transferred to a foster home before the kittens' eyes were even open. Even though their mom is was shy, the kittens quickly warmed up to people and play time.
Other fun facts about Pound Cake: her favorite toys are a peacock feather and a foam bouncy ball. When she is startled, her tail puffs up and looks exactly like a cactus. She has a cute, normal meow *and* a long, hilarious meow that sounds like a creaky gate. Her name comes from her favorite wrestling move.
