Poblano

This incredibly handsome kitty is Poblano (which is a type of Mexican chili pepper.) His mother came to us from a hoarding situation and was heavily pregnant when she was rescued. Her babies were born in foster care and grew up around a large number of other cats. The babies are now ready for adoption and are looking for homes with other kitties that they can become friends with. Despite Poblano’s name (a chili pepper) he is not spicy and is actually quite mild. He is a sweet boy with a soft personality. Although he’s a bit on the shy/quiet side, he’s playful with his friends and is cuddly once he gets to know you. Poblano would love to be adopted with one of his friends, or into a home where there are other cats that will hang out with him. He could fit well into a home with a younger, playful (but gentle) cat, or with an older cat that would prefer to cuddle. Poblano needs a home without children. While he doesn’t have much experience with dogs, Poblano’s mother hates dogs and seems to have passed this dislike onto her kittens. Therefore, a dog-free home will be ideal for him. Poblano has a very fluffy coat so will need a family that is willing to groom him regularly to prevent matting.
