Petey

"Petey" is a black & white Munchkin purebred. He has been neutered, FIV & Fel-V tested negative, vaccinated, and veterinary examined. He is ~5 years old (DOB ~2001) and is in great health! He also has just had a dental. Petey is a sweet little man who's had a rough past. He came from a shelter in Bartlesville, OK, was rescued by the Cat Fancier's Association (CFA), was fostered at the Cats Only Clinic in Norman, OK, and is now at the 2nd Chance Animal Sanctuary until he finds a permanent home. He loves affection and lots of attention, but he doesn't care to be picked up or sat on high surfaces- probably because his short little legs don't allow him to jump around as easily as other cats can! He also doesn't like his lower back to be scratched, which is not uncommon for cats, but he loves to have his head and neck scratched! Petey would be a wonderful cat for any family with a low-stress home. He's only 5, so he has another 10-15 years left in him, but he is an adult cat who is pretty set in his ways. He is very mature and likes to just hang out with you and relax! He would probably do well with another adult cat in the house, but perhaps not as a play-companion to a kitten.
