8/16/08 At last! Adopted!

7/8/08 New pictures! Could I have some attention please? I'm really a nice girl just looking for her special home.

5/13/08 I am settled into the green room at the shelter. I could really use some attention and a good brushing. I'm a good, quiet girl. I'd be happy loving only one, or loving a family. Please don't overlook me.

Diary 12/15/07 Oh dear, I lost my home just before Christmas, so here I am back at the shelter and looking for a new home. I do have allergies that means sometimes I need an inexpensive shot at the vet's office, but aside from that I'm a great gal. They got my front paws declawed when I lived with them. Anyway, do you think you could like a sweetheart like me? My name is the same as that beautiful green gem.

Diary 4/12/07 I got adopted, learned I have allergies, and they still want me! I'm sooooo happy!

Diary: 3/7/07: I am really sad and lonely because I'm in the medical room getting my ears treated for an infection. I reach out to all visitors, looking for love. I'll be ready for my own home ASAP, and am waiting for my special someone. Please come and meet me.

Well, it's about time they got some pretty pictures of me. I have dark tabby 'ticked' fur. I am not as 'in your face' as some of these creatures here, but I really appreciate some attention and some brushing. I like to sit on the adoptions desk and help with paperwork, and I like to find an empty lap to occupy. Do you think maybe you have a permanent, indoor home for special me?

Our adoption fee is $35 with a cardboard cat carrier, or $30 if you provide a carrier. All cats must be transported safely in a carrier. Additional carriers are $5 each. The fee includes:

• Worming


• Testing for Leukemia and AIDs


• Core vaccinations (including rabies tag)


• Ear mite and flea check and treatment


• Spay/neuter or voucher for spay/neuter


• Free sample bag of Hill's Science Diet Cat/ Kitten Food


• Lifetime guarantee of the right for the cat/ kitten to be returned to the shelter for any reason.

Come to the shelter to complete an adoption application, or print one from the 'adoption' page of our website http://www.guardianangelscatclub.org and bring it in. Out of town adopters or those wishing to expedite the adoption process may bring proof that pets past and present have been spayed/neutered and kept current on shots. Please note we do not ship cats! Adopter must come in person to the shelter.

Our adoption contract requires that cats be returned to us if for any reason at any time you cannot or will not be able to keep the cat. This includes giving us the option to accept the cat back at the shelter if your vet recommends euthanasia (unless the cat is obviously very injured or sick and sufferering at the time).
