PePe' is at our LAPCATS adoption center and he's ready for action! He's a fun, playful cat that's full of life. He's the kind of cat that loves everyone and everything but he's got an independent side too. Here are some of the great things his foster family has to say about him:
He is really just like a little kid, equivalent to maybe a 4 year-old boy. He gets rambunctious when he plays at times and will play bite, so he is not suited for a home with young children. He loves to play, but he rough houses when he plays with cats, so he really needs to go to a home where he has a fellow cat companion who can match him in size to keep his rough housing at the same level. He LOVES boxes and flips lids off or wedges himself in flattened ones just to get inside of them! I’ve left an empty laundry basket out just for him to go in and he really likes that.
His fur doesn't seem to be the kind that requires brushing to keep from matting and this is a good thing because he's not a fan of constant brushing! He's playful & energetic - balls, strings, boxes, stuffed animals, jumping & climbing on the cat tower, he loves them all. He's absolutey gorgeous! He's independent (not needy) but very friendly and social, so he follows you wherever you are. He wants to be in the same room as you and will hang out right next to the bath tub or even on the tub ledge while you shower. He'll play with toys by himself, but he likes doing it with you even more.
He likes other animals and really wants a buddy to wrestle with.
When he wants to be petted, he rubs against you or will even hop on you and rub his face against yours(eskimo kisses!) which is super cute.
