My Story

Snickers, who was originally named Peony, is a very pretty calico girl. She is lovable and likes being fussed over. She is good with other kitties, but would not mind being the only cat in the house--and being the PRINCESS. She's accustomed to being around a large dog, and has no problems with her. She came to our rescue as a 3-day old baby on 4-6-08. Her original profile read: "Little Peony was taken to Jackson County Animal Control when she was only a day old. She was dumped there along with her mama, Posy, and her 4 sisters and brothers (Poindexter, Sadie, Smokey, and Bandit.) Peony is a playful, adorable baby who starts to purr when she sees you. She can be a little bit shy until she knows you, but she has the typical feisty, naughty calico personality. Her birthday is 4-3-08." Peony was adopted for about 6 months, but the other cat in the family hated her, and she was returned to us. During that time she was renamed Snicker's. Snickers' adoption fee is $85. She was spayed and front declawed on 8-26-08, and is up to date on her vaccinations (3rd distemper combo and rabies vaccines were given 8-23-08). Her rabies (3-year vaccine) and distemper combo (1-year vaccine) were updated on 9-5-09, and she was given a Frontline treatment 9-5-09, also. Her mother tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV in 4-2008 just after we accepted them into our rescue from a local shelter. For more information on this cute girl, contact [email protected] or call Jann on her cell phone at 517-410-0074. Peony-Snickers was adopted on 9-27-09, and is now living in Ionia, MI.
