Penny is a wonderful torti with white cat who was brought into the shelter with her "brother", Smokey, due to allergies in the family. Penny apparently had no exercise and was fed a poor diet as she is morbidly obese and needs to be monitored for slow weight loss. Cats in shelters oftentimes become depressed and stop eating; this would be the WORST thing that could happen to Penny as this would throw her into liver failure and would cause her death. Penny needs to be rescued out of this shelter IMMEDIATELY!
