My Story

CRAZY KITTEN ALERT - NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART - KEEP READING ONLY IF YOU WANT YOUR WHOLE LIFE TO BE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN BY A 3 POUND TERROR Now that we have your attention, Peeta is an extremely outgoing, playful, rambunctious kitten. He is very loving, quick to purr and even quicker to lunge into your arms after a long day away from eachother. However, Peeta is absolutely fearless and reckless. He is a kitten ninja....no where but everywhere all at once. If you open a door, he is outside in a blink of an eye. If you decide to change laundry, its best to ensure he is not in the washer or dryer before you start them. If you pull out a steak from the freezer, double check he is not behind the freezer drawer before shutting it. If you are walking down a hall way, be leary of dark doorways....you are his prey. If you are quick and capture this little ball of fluff before he disappears, he will instantly start purring and relax into your arms. Let him go, and he is gone again. If you are looking for the perfect kitten with a ton of attitude and two tons of heart, you have found it in Peeta. You'll just want to kitten proof your house before bringing him home!! Peeta has been raised in a home with kittens, adult cats, and dogs. He will fit into most homes but would likely be happiest with a young active family with other animals in the home! His foster parents are KateF. The adoption fee for Peeta is $140. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted. Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Peeta. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible. All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter.
