My Story

Can't adopt but want to help? Please contact [email protected] to find out about sponsorship, fostering, and other ways you can help this cat! Please note that financial sponsorship will be applied to the specific cat you indicate unless it is not needed, at which time we will let you designate it for another HT animal of your choice.

You can save animals like Pecan by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please click here and email the questionnaire to [email protected].

Pecan and his brother and sisters were rescued from Georgia by one of our Homeward Trails volunteers. They were an unintended litter who were dropped off at a local shelter as very young babies. They are approximately 10 weeks old, and are active, healthy little kittens. Pecan is a beautiful little kitten who is the most outgoing one in the bunch. He also is a great cuddler and purrs the loudest! We would love for him to go to a home with another young kitten, or for him to be adopted with one of his siblings. Having a pal for him to hang around with will make him a happier kitty. Won't you make him a part of your family today?!?!

The adoption fee for this cat is $95, which covers the cost of routine age appropriate vet care.
