My Story

PATSY came to us from animal control in Hartford. She'd been hit by a car and had multiple fractures to her pelvis and hips. Her initial diagnosis was that she needed a femoral head osteotomy (FHO) surgery. We took her for chiropractic and acupuncture while we scheduled the surgery, and then when the big day arrived ,the vet refused to perform the surgery because PATSY was recovering so well. She has since made a full recovery and has blossomed into a super friendly, energetic and self-confident kitten. PATSY is very outgoing and social. She is high-energy and needs a cat or dog friend that will play at her level, which is rough and tumble, fast chase kind of play. She can be a bit over-the-top with timid or elderly cats who don’t want to be dive-bombed by a kitten. She is very much an out-of-the-box, curious, get into mischief, more like a dog than a cat kind of cat. We refer to them as "dog cats". PATSY is a shelter favorite because she has such a wonderful personality. PATSY is spayed, vaccinated, and negative for feline aids (fiV) and leukemia (FeLV). Her birthdate is 10/26/2023. She is currently at our shelter in Dayville, CT until a foster home opens, at which point she will be relocated elsewhere in CT.
