Patches

THIS WEEKEND A LADY DONATED $300TOWARD HER SURGERY, I HER LEG WILL BE FIXED SOON. THE LADY THAT DONATED THE MONEY HAS ADOPTED ME, I LIVE IN WAYNESBURG PA. Patches is a great girl! She is approximately 1. 5 years old. She came to me in September of 2005, she had a litter of kittens. I found her and her babies along the side of the road in a box. At the time I thought that she was hit by a car when she got out of the box. However, when her X-rays were done, the vet feels that this was an old break that already healed to its permanent state. Her kittens were adopted and she is still here. Patches has overcome her bone damage, she has a permanent limp, ocassionally she does seem to hurt with it, if she jumps wrong or if she plays too hard, or is wooped on by another cat here. Patches also doesn't like to be picked up, there is a special way to pick her up so that she can adjust her leg, which I can show you when you come to see her. Patches is a kitty that needs to be able to get up and into positions on her own, but, she is very loving and affectionate once she gets there. IShe loves to lay on your chest while you take your cat nap. I won't limit her to a home without children, but, if you know that your children are hyper-active, she shouldn't go to that kind of home. She also needs to be in a home that is not going to let her go outside, she will not be able to survive because of her leg. The vet feels that if the head of her femur bone were cut off, she would be able to walk better, but, I can not afford the surgery. Patches is FeLV (-) and fully vaccinated.
