My Story

"Despite spending the first two months of her life outdoors, Parsnip was born to be a housecat (even if she doesn't know it yet). She's still pretty nervous. She will hide if left to her own devices (so she should be contained to a small room or crate until she's feeling more confident) and you'll get a (mostly) half-hearted hiss when you try to pick her up, but even that's fading, and she's never tried to swat or bite. Once she's picked up, she's pretty passive, willing to be handled, and even enjoys getting pets and scritches. The real secret to her heart though, is a cozy warm bed - if you keep cuddling and petting her with her bed in your lap, you'll make a friend for life. She's also been using her litter box like the good girl that she is."
