A Special-Needs Kitty who needs a new foster or adoptive home Pablo is such a comical cat! He is very kittenish, a little goofy, and he just loves attention. He would love to romp and play with his housemates, but he gets way too energetic for their taste. Pablo is extremely agile and acrobatic. He takes a running leap over his kitty tunnel, turns on a dime, dashes through the tunnel to tackle his feline flyer at the other end. Whew! He exercises vigorously on one of his many cat scratchers. Go, Pablo! Playing is fun, but he also enjoys just being with you. He will take time out from activities to visit with his humans, stretching out by your side or lying on the floor near you. He enters his cat carrier easily and travels well in the car. Back at home, he loves to perch in the windowsill and bird and bug-watch out the window. He's imaginative and self-motivated and will play with his toys all by himself. He enjoys all the usual feline pursuits like sunbathing in his cat tree. He will hang out on the couch with you while you watch television, watch with interest as you cook dinner, or assist you as you work on your computer. Through his many activities, Pablo cheerfully wears a diaper. He was born with a lack of sensation in the area around his tail, a condition that prevents him from having control over his elimination. As a young kitten, Pablo learned to wear a washable diaper, and he has become right at home with it. What is involved in caring for him? It helps that Pablo is very food-motivated and will follow you when you call him by name. He easily picks up a new schedule. Having a prescription diet and set diet and sleep schedules simplify his care. He tolerates the diapers well and keeps himself impeccably clean when not wearing them overnight.
