My Story

Ozzy Est DOB 2020 Adoption fee $200.00 Ozzy is a big boy and a total softie. He gets along with other cats and dogs as long as they don’t bully him. Bath time is very calm with him, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and hair drying is a breeze. He does not like his teeth brushed but will allow a full mouth brushing with a finger toothbrush. Ozzy would be a great fit in any type of household because he is very gentle and likes being around everyone. He loves to eat, has a good appetite. Loves wet food. He would thrive if he had a catio, a yard with cat fencing, or someone who would allow him to have supervised outdoor time. He can gets anxious if he’s inside all the time or if he feels threatened by other animals. He was found wandering the streets of Stockton with a microchip, but the owner surrendered him. He was recently adopted from a local shelter, but the shelter would not take him back and clearly the people who adopted him should have never done so. They don’t deserve him! He’s a very special and beautiful boy. We want his next home to be with someone who values him and will spoil him forever. He is FIV+ but that’s not a big deal. FIV boys are the biggest lovers. They can live long, normal, healthy lives with other cats who are negative. The first step in our adoption process is the application which  can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!
