Oynx

I am delighted to introduce you to Onyx, a charming one-year-old (born on March 1, 2023) domestic short hair solid black cat with a touch of white strands on his underbelly. Onyx came into our rescue when a family contacted HART for assistance after finding him in one of their community cat colonies. He is an incredibly friendly and affectionate cat who loves curling up on laps for pets, rolling over for belly rubs, and relaxing in his cat tree while basking in the sun and gazing out the window. Onyx is still learning how to play with toys, but we are working on it. He is great around other cats and kittens but would prefer a home without dogs. He would make a wonderful family cat for both younger and older children, as he has never shown any signs of aggression or discomfort around my five-year-old granddaughter. Onyx enjoys his breakfast or treat of wet food in the morning and is a bit of a "chunker" who is still gaining weight. He would be content as the only cat in a home or with kitty siblings. Onyx would also be an excellent companion for someone working from home, as he is quiet yet attentive. Black cats are known to be among the most affectionate cats, and Onyx is no exception. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
