My Story

Otis is a very special guy. He’s the most handsome hunk with big (former tomcat) cheeks. Otis is a survivor of severe injuries that he sustained when he was shot with a blow dart in June of 2022. Not initially expected to survive, Otis showed us all how strong and determined he is, and just look at him now! Because of his internal injuries, Otis needs several meals of canned food daily. He is doing very well on four meals/day with two meals fed using an automatic feeder to work with his foster mom’s schedule. He cannot have access to dry food. He also must be an indoor cat. Otis is loving with people, including kids. He drools when he’s happy! He gets along with some cats and dogs but is always the boss. Occasionally Otis gets overstimulated and gets a little feisty. He needs to be in a home with experienced cat people! Otis is neutered and vaccinated. He tested negative for FELV/FIV. If you are interested in adopting, you can find our application online: https://www.floydhumanesociety.org/forms.html If you have any questions, please leave a message at 540-745-7207.
