Meet Oscar and Bug. Rescued from the notorious West End colony in 2022, the quirky duo became inseparable over the past year and a half in foster care. . Now, they eagerly await that special someone who can offer them the loving forever home they've been patiently hoping for — could that someone be you? Oscar and Bug couldn't be more different, yet they've forged an inseparable bond that promises endless entertainment for their future adopter. Despite his sleepy demeanor and clumsy wobbles due to CH (cerebellar hypoplasia), he's a sucker for attention, often charming visitors with his quiet, raspy meows and his hilarious reactions to catnip-induced craziness. Bug, on the other paw, is a bit more cautious at first but blossoms into a lovebug once she warms up to you. She's left her wild kitten days behind in favor of snuggling up with Oscar and soaking in the joys of a relaxed, cuddly life. Watching her roll around, chirping happily is a daily delight that never gets old. Oscar's mellow demeanor perfectly complements Bug's lively spirit, making them a comedy act like no other. Whether they're grooming each other with their comical size difference or entertaining with their quirky antics, Bug and Oscar promise to bring laughter and love to any home lucky enough to adopt them. Oscar is about 5.5 years old and Bug is just under 3 years old. They are both spayed/neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, dewormed, and microchipped. Both cats are FeLV positive (confirmed via PCR). Oscar has had a history of GI issues that have been well managed by his daily maintenance dose of steroids. The cause of his GI issues is unknown (either IBD or GI lymphoma), however his vet believes he is now in remission. Because Oscar is special needs and the pair’s FeLV status, their adoption fee has been waived.
